WATER BAPTISM
March 01st 10:00 am
Bethel Church

Water baptism is for people who have made an informed and conscious decision to put their trust in Jesus as their Savior, and have made a personal commitment to follow Him. It is an outward picture of an inward change, a public declaration of faith in Jesus. There are many biblical reasons to be baptized in water.

1. Jesus was baptized as an example for us to follow. (Matthew 3:13-17)
2. Jesus commanded His disciples to baptize those who became followers. (Matthew 28:19-20)
3. The early church always baptized new Christ-followers. (Acts 2:41, 8:12,19:4-5, 22:16)

If you are at least 10 years old and are ready to take the next step in your relationship with Jesus by getting baptized in water, the next opportunity will be on Sunday, March 1st. Feel free to invite as many family members and friends as you want to your baptism.

On March 1st:
* Arrive 20 minutes early and meet in the front of the Worship Center near the baptismal for last-minute instructions.
* Make sure to bring a towel and dry clothes to change into.
* Please dress modestly. You are going to be soaking wet in front of a room full of people.

If you have any questions, you can e-mail the church office at denise@medfordbethel.com or call (541) 779-5771. We look forward to sharing this exciting time with you as you follow Jesus!
